Early Childhood

Physical Development Children weight and height increases They develop more of their gross motor skills, such as jumping, running and throw and catch items. They develop more of their flexibility skills.

Cognitive Development Children at this stage show a big increase in representational activity. They come more aware that make-believe is representational activity.

Language Development Children improve in phonological awareness. Adjust speech to listeners perspective and to social expectations (berk, 2013).

Atypical development: A sign would be of an atypical development maybe separation anxiety. When children gross-motor skills are not fully develop. Social Children that enter this stage become more active and they start to interact with more children that are in their age group.

Culture Influence The type of culture/environment that surrounds them will affect their development.

Early Childhood
Positive Development Parents should always communicate with their children, which will help with the process of their development. When parents talk to their children in regular language and not baby talk, this way the children learn the proper English language.
