Polot is rich in beautiful spots, and one of this is the Ubo falls that could be found in Sitio Liman that is two kilometers away from brgy. proper. Ubo falls in Liman is in the middle of the forest. According to the people who experienced swimming on it, it was so deep, especially at the portion where the water directly falls. No one could reach its bottom. Base from the Gurangans stories, this falls is mystical and dangerous to strangers, they believe that this falls is engkantado. According to them ,there is a tagabantay of this place. They are referring to some mytical creatures like diwata and so many more that are so called tawo sa lipod. They also believe that there is something special beyond the depth of this falls, such as treasures that is why it is guarded by engkantos. Some are scared and never dare to go in ubo, but we found it beautiful and a good place for relaxation and enjoyment. There is nothing wrong if we would believe it or not about such belief as long as we respect it and the nature. The important thing is we should not forget that whatever belief it is, we should respect it
