In line with the National Greening Program of the President of the Philippines, Pres. Benigno Noynoy C. Aquino III, the school planted trees in the selected slopes of Surigao City. Parents, teachers and students gladly joined the activity.

The CRSHS-PTA Cares is a program recognized and supported by the CRSHS-PTA as a form of assistance to the less-fortunate yet deserving students who have the least chance of paying for their financial obligations including School Fees, Projects and other financial contributions arising in the course of his study.

! In Caraga Regional Science High School, students and teachers were into segregation as well. The Supreme Student Government officers are the ones who will supervise each class. Trash cans in every class room are being checked every day. The school has its own Material Recovery Facility where the students can deposit recyclable items.!

In general, the CRSHS-PTA Cares is anchored at the following objectives : to identify the less-fortunate yet deserving students currently enrolled who have difficulty paying for their school obligations; to help these students by way of paying or sponsoring for their financial obligations in school; to assist parents of these students be able to cope with their various obligations in school particularly those involving money matters; to lessen problems involving collections; to encourage every parent to pay concern for every student here in school and eventually join in the cause; and to foster the value of brotherhood in the organization.
