This will also serve the value of customer to form a positive relationship today and the future. Background and History Early forms of the toothbrush have been in existence since 3000 BC. Ancient civilizations used a chew stick, which was a thin twig with a frayed end. These chew

stick were rubbed against the teeth. So that it could penetrate between the teeth more effectively.

The bristle toothbrush, similar to the type used today, was not invented until 1948 in china. The bristles were actually the stiff, coarse hairs taken from the back of a hog's neck and attached to handles made of bone or bamboo.

By the 15th century the Chinese had designed a more sophisticated toothbrush complete with a brush attached to a handle. A century later the English nobility were using toothbrushes fashioned out of silver.

By the 1990's, countless styles of toothbrushes filled the selves of supermarkets and drugstores, many claiming their superiority over other brands. Consumers could choose from toothbrushes with soft or hard bristles, with natural or synthetic bristles, and in a variety of sizes, colours, and configurations. For instance, the Reach toothbrush by Johnson & Johnson was the first toothbrush designed with an angled handle which was intended to make brushing teeth easier. A later variation on the Reach brush included bristles in a zigzag design.

Boar bristles were used until 1938, when nylon bristles were introduced by DuPont de Nemours. The first nylon toothbrush was called the Doctor West's Miracle Toothbrush. Later, Americans were influenced by the disciplined hygiene habits of soldier from World War II. They became increasingly concerned with the practice of

good oral hygiene and quickly adopted the nylon toothbrush.

In 1961, the Electric toothbrush was introduced. Beginning in the late 1970's, the toothbrush industry started churning out a variety of new designs. They included variations in bristle shape, sizes and texture, as well as unconventional handle styles.

Improvements in Electric toothbrushes included battery-operated models, rotating heads, and tufts of rotating bristles. A high-tech electronic toothbrush, called the Interplak, featured two rows of bristles with tufts that would spin at 4200 rpm, constantly reversing direction, and pulsating against the teeth. The interplak, as its name suggests, was designed to remove plaque.

Now, 2013 Lucralife Incorporation introduces the innovation of toothbrush named Toothmate. It is syringe tube type and a brush which is combined in one body. It can automatically press and pump to dispense the toothpaste for ready used. Toothmate is only toothbrush with a hole for convenient flowing upward of toothpaste.
