Lymphatic System
When there is vessels there is Lymph nodes. The lymphatic system consists of organs, ducts, and nodes. It transports a watery clear fluid called lymph. This fluid distributes immune cells and other factors throughout the body. It also interacts with the blood circulatory system to drain fluid from cells and tissues. The lymphatic system contains immune cells called lymphocytes, which protect the body against antigens (viruses, bacteria, etc.) when you are sick the lymphatic system helps you recover. It is abnormal cells of this type that cause lymphoma.

Lymph Nodes
The lymph node provides an environment where lymphocytes can receive initial exposure to foreign antigens (viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc.), which activates the lymphocytes to perform immune functions.

Lymphatic Vessels
Lymphatic vessels occur throughout the body alongside arteries (in the viscera) or veins (in the subcutaneous tissue). They are absent from the central nervous system, bone marrow, teeth, and avascular tissues.
