Rick Lusk, Finance Director City of Greensboro P.O Box 3136 Greensboro, NC 27402-3136 Dear Mr. Lusk: Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, North Carolina General Statute Section 132.l, I am requesting to inspect or obtain copies of public records of all information and records on all instances from 2000 to the date this request is fulfilled where the city of Greensboro has paid a vendor in whole or partly the city contracted amount prior to both parties signing a contract requiring payment to be made. The request includes copies of every document related to the matter, regardless of the format in which the information is stored. If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me of the cost. However, I request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the publics understanding of The Greensboro Times, as a representative of the news media, and this request is related to news gathering purposes, and this information is not being sought for commercial purposes. The law requires that you respond to and fulfill this request as promptly as possible.
