WAX you can either use old, worn out candles or you can purchase paraffin wax from craft store.

WICKS you can make wicks from heavy or braided cotton string. You also can purchase wicks from craft store.

DOUBLE BOILER you can use an actual double boiler and also you can make your won using a pan and a jar of coffee can.

MOLD if you are plannig in making a molded candle, you can use anything such as milk carton, dixie cup, tin can, paper towel tube, etc.

TWO OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS a) crayons to colour the wax. You can also buy wax dye. b) scented oil to make your candles smell wonderful, like me.
