An animated even count flat peyote tutorial from Arleen Hardin

First thread a needle with a long thread and add a stopper bead.
A stopper bead is a bead you loop your thread through a couple of times to keep all the other beads from sliding off the thread!

Next string on 6 beads in alternating colors of green & red. Or feel free to use what colors you have on hand!

Pick up one red bead and go thru the first green bead.

Blue lines show new thread path.

Pick up another red bead, skip one red bead, go through the next green bead.

Pick up another red bead, skip one red bead go through the last green bead.

Pick up a green bead, go through the last red bead you added in the previous row.
