According to the Indian census of 2001, Siddipet had a population of 61,809.

Now as per [1] 2011, Siddipet had a population of approximately 1,80,000 (It happened by merging of two neighbour villages in Siddipet municipality). Males constituted 50% of the population and females 50%. Siddipet has an average literacy rate of 81%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 89.84%, and female literacy is 69.44%. In Siddipet, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age. There are 32 wards in the municipality. There is a need of forming siddipet district because it is far away from district headquarter sangareddy . And has all resources for forming siddipet a new district.
