So, you want to be a FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM Millionaire?

Lets face it, buying packs will not get you there, as you probably know by now. Well, youve made the right decision getting this Guide. It will teach you, not just one Method thoroughly, but pretty much e very method available, where they hit and miss, their strengths and weaknesses.

Obviously I will concentrate on the method that Ive found to be the most profitable and easiest to implement, and the one th at could bring me money consistently, day after day, with the limited time I had to trade.
You think my teams are impressive? As I said, I have now raised over 5 Million coins trading 30 minutes a day in 3 months starting from Zero. Im sure anyone who can spare 1 Hour of Trading every day will eventually have a much better team than me, as long as you fol low the footsteps Ive laid out for you. In the second part of this Guide, youll also find an interview with a friend of mine which not only is a great trader but al so had the TOP RATED team in all Fifa 12 (PS3) with a 95 Rating. We also go through his methods of trading, his tips and advices for anyone that wants to follow his footsteps and recreate his massive success. Yes, this is a guy who has individual players that cost millions, but on the other hand, hes not a casual trader either he does it every day for hours, and thats why he is/was the best. For me on the other hand, its wasnt about making the most money trading, or getting the highest rated team, it has always been about building a great team, with my favorite players, so I could win every match and thats what I did. Whatever are your goals with Fifa Ultimate Team, one things for sure: You need coins, and thats what youll get using the information in this Guide.

My Story

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Ill be honest, the first time I played Fifa Ultimate Team, it didnt impress me much. Ive been playing football games since Fifa 94 and even further back, with Sensible Soccer in the Commodore Amiga days. Since Fifa 2003, Ive usually played over 2000 competitive head to head matches a year online, and managed to attend to the World Cyber Games qualifiers a few times. If youre anything like me, you always play to Win. Losing is not an option and it hurts. Biting the gamepad, throwing it across the room and smashing it against the wall, waking up the whole flat as I scream at Casillas for failing to save yet another finesse shot, are all common happenings when I do lose, and everybody loses at some time. Therefore, usually when Im bad at something I either quit or I stand through the pain and get really really good at something, and thats exactly what I did with trading.

So now, the thought of creating my own team and playing with it, although cool in theory, clashed with my time dedication to a more serious e-gaming career. How could I get better at the game if everyone was using custom teams?
What I didnt realize at the time is that, if youre a great Ultimate Team player youll have an edge in Normal Head2Head matches, as youll be used to playing the game at a much quicker tempo and therefore your speed of reaction is quite increased.

I didnt really give it much thought about trying it out thoroughly as I should have at first. I did however, create a club in late October as a side note to my then blossoming Head to Head career.
As I got into Fifa Ultimate Team, I quickly realized theres much more to FUT than just creating custom teams. Its actually quite challenging! Not only the tempo of the game is much higher, but attributes like pace, strength and agility are kings. So it feels like a game apart!

I remember I actually gave it a shot and played around 20 games with my original bronze team, losing most, so I could afford my first one or two gold players, and stuck them on the team, proud as hell thinking Id beat everyone now and when I got into the game they played like complete retards, because well I wasnt aware of a tiny little thing called chemistry! To top that off, injuries started to appear, contracts running out, and soon I got so broke I had to sell up those gold players so I could afford to keep on playing! Im pretty sure almost everyone has faced this, back when they were a noob. This was the moment I decided I was going to have none of that and just quit Fifa Ultimate Team. And quit I did, until April last year, when Id just finished racking up my FIFA12 20ish Div. 1 Title in Head to Head Seasons and it just was getting really boring. I needed a different challenge!

So, as Pro Clubs is too boring for me (if I wanted to see other people play, Id just watch real football), I figured giving Fifa Ultimate Team another shot, what the hell, it was faster paced and provided a new angle on the game. As you probably know, not all is heaven in Fifa Ultimate Team though Last year, due to the mechanics of the game, low rated teams with quick powerful players could wipe the floor with higher rated teams and players like Gabby Agbonlahor and Darren Bent make Messi look like a newbie. This hasnt changed much in FIFA 13 either, and its still very much a pace/agility/strength game. As I got totally whipped by these teams, time and time again, I decided I wasnt going to take it anymore I had two chances of beating them: I either joined them and built a whole team of those crappy overpowered players or actually build a team so good that wouldnt get beaten by them. I had however no interest in exploiting the game to win might as well just lag cheat, so I chose the second and started looking at players to build the tightest, meanest team in Fifa Ultimate Team history.

First name that popped in my head was Ronaldo. He should make a decent LW. When I opened the Trading section and looked at the Ronaldo prices I LOLd. Ronaldo was going for about 500-600k. There was absolutely no way I was ever going to afford that unless I endured through thousands of tedious offline matches. It was NOT going to happen, so I needed to find out another way. However, I promised myself I wasnt going through that being broke crap again, not even affording contracts/injury cards so I NEEDED TO MAKE MONEY first and then play later. I knew nothing about Trading at this point, so I just jumped in the Market after playing a couple of offline tournaments to raise around 6k. I also quick sold my crappy bronze team. I had no intention of playing with them, they were complete garbage. I think altogether I had 7k to start Trading. Quite a fortune. Just 3 months later I had a team that cost me well over 2 Million coins on XBOX (equivalent 3-4Million in PS3, almost 10 Million on PC) , this after wasting A LOT of money on taxes due to changing my team many times over.

What Im saying is if you put in the effort and time, with this trading system you can save up the money to buy all the VERY BEST VERSIONS of the ANY player in Fifa 13 in a week or two easily. Players of this caliber and price will take time and a little budget to accomplish, but Ill show you exactly how to do it. No, in case youre wondering, I havent relied on tournament prizes or game coins either. If you think Ive got this money together by buying packs with real money, think again! Apart from the 600k pack experience, Ive opened like 5 packs in my entire Fifa Ultimate Team life. Thats the number I needed to realize packs a complete scam. I have well under 500 games played so far in Fifa Ultimate Team, won just 30 tournaments as Im writing this, the majority of which won with this latest team, because it just suits my gameplay. With this team, in the last 50 games, Ive lost only 1. And thats when I realized I didnt need to trade anymore I should ju st quit trading and write this Guide to help people achieve their Dream Team.

Why Packs Are a Scam

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Opening packs is like playing in a Casino. Occasionally you might get lucky but if you keep playing, in the end the house always wins because the odds are in their favor. Have you ever really wondered how much money you wasted on packs in the last year? With most people it should be at least a few hundred thousand gold coins. The same 100k coins could be turned into 200k in 1 or 2 days with my system and you could be looking at a Million within a week if you had the patience to trade a few hours a day. EA on the other hand want you to buy packs. So theres a big, big chance, I might get sued for releasing this guide that advocates against it. Packs are big, big business for them. You see, once upon a time, they only got paid upon game release with the games price tag now FUT has become for most people a recurring payment, buying incredibly expensive real money packs.

Fifa 12 Ultimate Team had by 31st March 2012, netted $108 million alone in digital sales, according to the official earnings report by Electronic Arts. Just today as Im writing this, theyre selling special 12 players gold packs for 9,99. Odds are most of those packs carry nothing, but you bet theyll be racking in major cash, because of all the suckers who kee p believing theyll get IF Ronaldo. Obviously someone will get one, but it will be 1 person in every 10.000 that buys a pack if that much. On another hand, if the suckers dont keep opening packs, we will not be able to abuse them trading the hell out of the game. So let them buy them, encourage them to buy them! If you are also addicted to opening packs because you absolutely LOVE it, you can use my system to finance that addiction, but Ill tell you right now, for every 100 persons that will read this book, not even 1, will ever get an IF Ronaldo in a pack or a player of that caliber.

How I Did it

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

So how do I do it in such a short amount of time? How did I raise 5 Million Trading 30 minutes a day in 3 months?
No big deal! Once you understand the system, you can use it to make over 100k a day if you dedicate less than 2 hours or so a day to it. Although Ive used many methods I read on the web because I like to try new things, I ended up developing my own because it just works much better than the others theoretically and in practice. A very important thing to understand is that other methods rely a lot on being lucky to find underpriced players, but yeah are you every going to find Ronaldo at discard price? These deals come up once in a lifetime and youve probably never seen a very expensive player sell for under 50% of their market price. Our system on the other hand has little to do about being lucky, its mainly being smart, skillful at trading and spotting an d being quick, so luck is really not involved and this a golden rule of the good traders, whether in FIFA or any other market they might get lucky at times, but they dont rely on it at all. Am I the single person using it? Probably not, but compared to people who use other more popular (and boring) methods like the 59th min, theres far, far less using it. Does it pull as much money as the autobuying scripts on the web? Again, probably not, but Ill tell you something: EA are really, really trigger happy on accounts and will ban your account if they suspect anything. Autobuying scripts are illegal, so you dont really want to jeopardize your account, and most importantly you dont need to! In the buildup to revealing my Method, in the next section we will be reviewing the most Common Trading Methods, analyze them and see where they fail and succeed.

Common Trading Methods

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

The 59TH minute If you havent heard of this one, youve probably been living under a rock, but Ill explain it summarily. Its all about scrolling the trade window all the way up to page 1000 or so, so you can browse through the players that are being placed in the market with 1 hour expiration time. So experienced traders would hawk the 59minutes:59 seconds page scrolling up and down until a good underpriced player hits the market.

Most big money traders I know use this method along with custom price intervals. So for instance, theyll look for players in the 20-30k interval, maybe focus on getting IFs and hit Buy Now on the ones that are priced below the others in the Market Place, after checking the price on existing market players on a website that can monitor the market in Real Time like http://ultimatedb.nl

P. 20

Why this method has worked in the past A lot of people dont bother looking the price of the players in the market before putting them up for sale. Others just want a quick sale because they need money. You can find some pretty good underpriced gems due to that. So during peak hours of the platform like prime time UK or Happy Hours, you could usually get people to list their IFs for lower prices because they just didnt know how much they were worth. Another great method is to focus in the Silver and Bronze overpowered players. People usually know Messi is worth a few hundred thousand coins, but a lot of people dont play with Silvers and dont know there are players like Maikon Leite or El Sharaawy (FIFA12) there are worth far more than 99% of the Gold players. So you might pick up a few if you try to find Silver and Bronze players in the 59 th minute.

Why this method isnt working so well now While you can still make a lot of money because each week there are more players and more in forms getting released, people are also getting more and more clued up about auction prices and therefore are far less prone to make mistakes. There are probably more people waiting around in the 59th minute right now at every instant, than people actually making mistakes and listing the players cheaper than their market value. This makes it increasingly difficult.

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 21

What I personally think of it I think its boring as hell! Plus if youre going to buy IF players, you need a big starting capital. Taking the time to scroll up to the 59 thminute with just 20k or so to spend makes absolutely ZERO sense youre just wasting your time. On the other hand, if youre going to be buying cheaper but still useful and popular Gold players, think again there are people using auto buying programs right now, configured to buy those players almost instantly as they hit th e market. Im sure it has happened to you you mess up a players price and put it on the market somewhat cheaper than the usual price and it is bought in seconds. Yes, chances are thats not a human buying your player, but a Bot.

P. 22

Of course, they are definitely jeopardizing their accounts, but theres not much you can do as a human to compete with a machine, sorry! While I have made some money using this method, due to the sheer amount of people (and bots) hawking the 59th minute at all times, its really not as good as it once was, and downright impossible at peak hours (8pm-0am GMT).

Another reason why I dont dig it its because it relies too much on luck and on people being dumb and undervaluing their players. I mean, for every player that you pick up 5k cheaper, there has to be someone dumb enough to put it on the market at that price. The method just got too popular, and once a method with limited offer (needs mistakes from people) gets too common it stops being so effective. One last thing you should take note is how much youll be making on each player. Banking 5k on a player is cool, but not that cool, when youre investing almost 100k on that player, and this is the type of trades Im seeing right now. Just dont.

P. 23

Trading Unpopular/Older In Form Players Now were talking! This one is a true hidden gem. The method is simple: gather a List of In Form players (especially outside the big 3 leagues) and check their prices. Avoid the three most popular leagues, as most people trade them and are aware of the IF prices.

So the trading would be: if the price of the lowest for sale is LESS than the 2nd lowest player for sale + taxes, then buy it and relist it.
You can actually just use the Ultimatedb.NL for this. Its actually quicker than looking for players inside the game. Example: In Fifa 12, Toni Kroos IF 83 CAM from Bayern Munchen in the Bundesliga was one I made good money with more than once. So for example if Toni Kroos 2nd lowest card is for sale at 30k and you spot one for sale at 25k, you would buy it and list 29k. So when you finally sold it, youd make 29000-1450(5% tax)-25k, therefore 2550 coins. Not too bad, but obviously not amazing either. Youre basically making a 10% profit on the money invested. Dont forget the 5% tax!!!! If you do, you may be losing coins, instead of making coins! STAY AWAY from recently released players. Their prices fluctuate too much and they can lose enormous value in HOURS.

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 24

Price Fixing Not for the weak hearted! This can be a GREAT way to make money, but definitely not for everyone and not for every budget AT ALL! The idea is basically to buy all cards of a single version of a player in the market and relist them all at a higher price, so that anyone who wants that player has no choice but to pay your price. First of all you need a lot of money, depending on the player youre trying to fix. Secondly, if youre going to fix, youll need to fix smart. I see people trying to fix common cheap players of rare formation s like 4-1-2-1-2, because they dont have enough money and that ALWAYS fails. Obviously they can make some quick coins, but sooner or later, as the player is too common, the market will be flooded of players at the usual price and the price fixer now either keeps buying those players that come up and relist them, or just gives up and is left with a bunch of cards that hell have to sell below his expected price.

The smart way to do this is obviously to do it with the rarest In Form players of the game, maybe MOTM cards. On XBOX right now there are a couple of players who are permanently price fixed and they are among the rarest like MOTM cards for players who got no other IFs released. A good example of this in Fifa 12 was Neuer 88 MOTM card. As you should know, MOTM cards are only released for a couple of hours after a match and therefore, they are the rarest.

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 25

So that Neuer card was not only rare as hell, but also the best Bundesliga and Germany GK by far. The MOTM version was only marginally better than his Normal version (87), one costs 10k and the other costs 500k. You may wonder why anyone would pay that much for a small upgrade. Well, for the same reason that people buy Special Edition Ferraris. Rich people that want the best are willing to pay for it and so do rich players.

So the strategy is actually simple finding the right player and having the coins to take the risk, on the other hand, is not. If you fail, you can lose a lot of coins, but if you succeed you can make over 100k with just one player.

VERDICT I dont use it, but if you do and can make money with it, I tip my hat off to you and salute you for your gigantic pair of te sticles.

Intro to My Method
Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

I call it the Scrub Method, because were going to dedicate our time buying scrubs. These players are very common, very cheap, but still good enough to have large demand from people building entry level teams. Most people wouldnt even imagine the amount of money that can be made exclusively trading them. For the sake of simplicity and understanding of each market, Ill advise you to focus for now on the most popular leagues: BBVA, BPL, Serie A and Bundesliga. While a lot of money can be made in each one of them, my bread and butter for coin making was the Spanish BBVA league in FIFA12, and it seems like it will be the Serie A in FIFA 13 at least in the first months. The method is simple and doesnt require deep understanding of the market, but youll need to know which players are commonly used in that particular league.

Example of an Entry Level Serie A team

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 28

So for instance looking at the BPL as its the most popular league in the game. A player like Tiote while cheap, is still very good and one of the most popular Defensive Midfielders in the BPL. This means theres not only A LOT of Tiote cards in the Market but theres also very STRONG demand for Tiote every day from gamers building new teams. So the method consists in buying large quantities of these very cheap players like Tiote within a tight range in the most popular leagues. I usually focus in the 700 to 4000 coin range on XBOX and it should be more like 700 to 6000/7000 on PS3 and PC Hundreds of decent players fit this range. The prices however should be slightly higher on other platforms which means that maybe you need to try a slightly higher range. In Fifa 13, especially in the beginning, the player prices will be higher so youre probably going to have to change the range a bit in order to find these cheap players.

Simple Trading Range to Use on XBOX

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 29

The players I trade are usually 80+ rated or high pace, and priced very close to the discard price due to being so common, but as they are great value for the money, two things happen: 1 The people selling these players dont bother checking their prices and just put them on minimum Bid all the time. 2 The people that buy them dont bother waiting for the bid to expire because they are only saving a few hundred coins, and ALMOST ALWAYS use BUY NOW to buy them. So this is whats normally called a market inefficiency, and therefore something we can and will exploit to make large amounts of money.

What we do is basically fill in the gap between those people that dont care, and how much others are ready to pay at Buy Now, to buy these players when they need them. And we buy A LOT of these players.

Hundreds of Decent Players fitted this Range in FIFA 12

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 30

Just for the Record: This is not just Buying Low and Selling High, although in Trading, everything is Buying Low and Selling High in some sense.
Its MASS Buying Very Low, and Taking 50-100%+ Profit on Every Player, which would be downright impossible if we were trading more expensive players. Imagine if we have 50k to trade: This means with this method, instead of buying one player for 50k to sell him for 60k like MOST people do, taking 10k profits minus taxes. what we are doing is using those 50k in something like: Buying 25 players x 2k (50k) and selling them 25 x 3k (75k) which would mean 25k profit. Of course it would be even better and more profitable if you could buy even more players and cheaper. And this is why, once you understand if fully, with this method, youll be able to do insane things like doubling your gold coins every day, if you have the time to trade for it.

FINAL NOTE REGARDING FIFA 13

Be aware that not all these players I listed will be within the price ranges discussed during the first month or two after FIFA13 release. This happens because there is more Demand than Offer during release. Unless you are experienced with this method, you should stick to the Players in the Weekly Private Report. As players buy more packs, these players will be more and more common and their price will drop, allowing us to have more players within our price range. Personally Im trading in FIFA13 with a Trade Range of 700-4000 right now in the SERIE A and making more money than I did in FIFA 12. (WARNING: This Range should be higher like 700-6000, on PS3/PC as Players sell for more in these platforms) If youre just starting out with the Method, I recommend starting with the normal at 700-3000 or 4000, even if this means missing out on a few trades, so you can just get a feel for the market prices first, and avoid mistakes. After a few days of successful trading, you can alter the Range a bit but remember the point is not to buy more expensive players, but to buy the largest amount of players from which we can take a profit of 50% or higher. As the Market Demand for these cheap players is huge during release, I recommend you try to trade outside the rush hour which is 5pm-0am UK TIME. You should be able to find loads of players with not so much competition after 1-2am UK (after the people listed their players and went to bed).

How to Buy

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Thinking about at what price you should buy them? I recommend you starting to Look for these players with a very, very tight range of prices in the filter such as 700 min. 4000 max. (at first) and Filtered by League. Then increase the range slightly if you cant find enough players. That way youll be much less likely to buy players out of price range. Yes youll miss you out on some good deals, but starti ng out, its much easier to make money without doing too many mistakes. Obviously, dont buy anything at Buy Now. Stay within the first 5 minutes of Remaining Auction Time for each Market, and bid every player that fits the description where you can make some money. Obviously in the beginning you wont know how much theyre selling for, so use the UltimateDB.nl website to check it in Real Time. I actually recommend you to start trading in the Webapp and Ultimatedb.nl open in another tab so you can check prices instantly.

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 39

Dont get frustrated if you go through a few pages without finding anything you can make money with, eventually youll find one of those players go cheap, and youll win the Bid.
Dont get into massive bidding wars, theyre not worth your time at all. The key to this method is buying a lot of these players, and if youre wasting time in bidding wars, youll take 3 or 4 times longer. I usually just go through all the pages until the remaining auction time is over 4 or 5 minutes, and then Ill switch to the Watch List. Rebid some players if I get Outbid and theyre still worth buying. Ill then quickly switch to another Market like the BPL and do the same, and afterwards go through the Serie A, then back to La Liga again. So I always keep moving and dont waste much time at all looking at the Watch List. During the first one or two months, the competition on the BBVA and BPL will be fierce though so trade outside of regular hours or focus on Serie A and Bundesliga.

P. 40

Formations to Bid This is one of the most important factors in buying these players. You should ALWAYS be looking to buy players with tactics WITH 4 (FOUR) defenders. Its just because any of these tactics are 10x more popular than the other formations with 3 and 5 defenders. For formations with 3 or 5 defenders, you should pay at least 30% less than normal. 41212 are by far the most expensive formation, then 433, 442, 4321 then 451, 4411, and the rest. (the ranges in the private report also follow this logic: i.e.: 3000-4500, or less popular formations - more popular formations) Try to learn a bit about formations before you go trading. I see lots of players doing newbie mistakes like buying LFs for tactics that have no wingers like 4231. Go into your active squad and play around with formations and look at the spots. So buying a cheap Lavezzi LF probably isnt a great deal if hes 442 or 4231, because no one is going to buy him off you ! Do not buy the cheapest players in bad formations, just dont, as they will be harder to sell.

Cheap? Not really, as 532, has no CFs! Youd struggle to find a buyer for this.

Positions to Bid Another thing youll get to know is the difference in price between players in their original position and converted. So even though someone like Vidal from Juventus, can sell just for his discard price at CDM, if hes converted to CM (and A LOT of people do this), hell be worth at least 3k on Xbox, and even more on other platforms, because position cards are just so damn expensive. Even more expensive is a conversion of a CAM to a CM on a player such as Vidal that a lot of people like to use as a CM. His CM card can go up to 3 or 4x his original price. So, what is awesome is that A LOT of people dont remember this and list them at the normal price. So, you can make money just trading these mistakes of others. There are a lot of people listing LM or RM, converted wingers, at their winger price which means you can pickup these players usually at 1k-2k and relist them at 4k-5k for a whooping 300% profit.

Trading Wingers converted to Mifielders in FIFA 12 was as Easy as Money got.

What You Need to Know About the Players Youre Buying

If youre planning doing this in other leagues, and its very possible because there are great cheap players in the French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Brazilian league, just to mention a few, you need to know some fundamentals about the players you should be buying in ANY LEAGUE: Pace is important in FIFA, the more pace the better. Dont buy defenders with under 60 pace and wingers with under 80 pace, unless you have checked theyre worth it. Buy shiny cards only. Non rare players are generally worthless and even have lower discard price. There are some decent non-shiny cards in FIFA13 like Verthongen, but unless you know what youre doing, you should not touch those, as the cost of a mistake will be higher. They quick sell for 300 coins, not 600. Expect to make some bad trades. You need to learn by mistake which players are popular and which arent. Dont just buy any player. Check around to see how much is being paid for that player and wait for an opportunity to jump in at a lower price. Learn your updated players. If a player has received a big update, you probably shouldnt expect both cards to be priced at similar values, so check it out.

How to Sell

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

How to Relist Them

The first time youre selling, I recommend you checking the price for the LOWEST BUY NOW for that particular formation live on the platform or in ultimatedb.nl. After a couple of trades of that player, youll get a feel for how much hes worth and wont need to. If your players are not selling the issue, is that youre not listing them at the lowest buy now because think about it if youre selling a popular player in a popular formation at a lowest price HE HAS TO SELL. As a general rule of thumb I try to sell them at 80%-100% profit. So for one of my most common trades, if I pick up a Handanovic 433 for 1000, Ill usually price it at 1800 Buy now or 2000 Buy Now if he has over 15 contracts left. If they dont sell, lower the price 100 coins or 200 coins and put them on for another 6 to 12 hours. Try to have the auctions end at 6pm-0am GMT (English time), as much more people are trading at those hours and therefore, theres a better chance of getting your players sold.

And this is What your Trade Pile should Look the next day if you priced them right:

These for instance could be picked up these up at 700-2000 and sold for 2000-4000. Even if there's one or two I couldn't sell, I wouldn't lose much, as they can be quick sold for 650. Remember to stay away from the more expensive players as the profit % is much smaller. And you need to re-invest all the money you make, right away. It might seem you're not making money, but your trade pile will be growing a lot every day. Once you get the trade pile up to 30 players at all times and you've got money left, open another trading account and fill it as well.

Keey buying and listing...

Making Big Money

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

The key point to making the big bucks is scaling your operation.

If you are buying one player at 1000 and selling him at buy now for 2000 it doesnt look like much, but think about it: there are literally thousands of these players being sold every hour with Bid instead of Buy Now, which means they are most likely being sold below their common Buy Now market value. While selling one player doesnt seem like much, If you pick up 10 of these players (and you can do this in under 10 minutes of trading), guess what, youll be doubling the 10k invested. Now tell me something is it easy to double your money buying In Forms and other expensive players? Obviously not! Usually its so hard to find deals that if you can find a player to take a 10 -20% profit youre usually a happy camper. Now think about something, what about filling your whole trade pile with these players? Right on, you can do it, and with around 30k investment, you should be able to double your money in a 24 hours space, which is usually the time needed to sell all those cards if the players are popular and the pricing is correct. That is 30k profit in 24 hours for 30-45 mins. work. The goal is to have at least 3 accounts filled with players (that's 90 players). If you can do that, and price those players right, you can't not be making close to the 100k gold a day mark. You'll have time to buy all those players you want, just focus on making money right now, while you also wait for their prices to drop.

Some of you may know, but some might now know, that although you can only have a trade pile with 30 slots per account, we are not limited to one account! If you create another club with a little trick, and transfer some money into it, youll be left with another 30 spots in your trade pile to fill up at all times. How to do it? Just create another FREE XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT, PSN or PC and enter Fifa. Even though, youll not be able to play the game, in Xboxs case due to Live Gold not being activated, you are free to trade away! Its the same in PS3 with PSN. If you want to make 100k a day, you need more than one account, theres no other way around it. How to transfer money into that account? Just put up one of your bronze players for 10k-30k on that account or so and then go on your main account and buy it. Youll pay 500-1500 gold taxes, but youll be left with enough money to kick start your new operation.

To this for every account and quickly you may have yourself hundreds of players on sale daily ready to double your money and a multimillion gold coin empire.

Interviewing The Top FIFA Trader

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

I heard about this guy in a Forum i used to post, when I was starting to trade and refining my system, he already had the Top rated Fifa teams. He said he used to get send hundreds of messages every day asking for tips and advice, and people trying to hack his account. I can confirm this, as I got messaged all the time as well, and my team doesnt cost half as much as his. He was the kind of guy that bought the 99 Messis and 97 Ronaldos just as they were released because he could afford it. A couple of months later we started talking, because I was having massive success as well, and we shared our methods, to try to learn more about money making in FIFA. Whether my method is better than his, thats for you to judge and test yourself. Hes definitely had more success than me, but then again probably not within the time range and time spent a day trading.

So, as I was writing this guide, I asked him for an interview to share with the readers and he agreed to reveal some his secret sauce. So fasten your seatbelts and get ready to go inside the mind of FIFAs top trader.

Question: Was it always your goal to have the #1 team in all Fifa Ultimate Team, or was that something that came up later? Answer: Ive been playing Fifa Ultimate Team since Fifa 10, and I always loved to have a great team, not necessarily number one, but one with the biggest stars (Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta, etc). Obviously in Fifa Ultimate Team 10 I didnt have a great team, because I didnt know anything about trading so I could never gather the coins to buy those players. In FUT 11, I started to focus more on trading, doing a lot of web searching, reading about the best methods and eventually got a decent team. I remember I was very happy when I got Messi, and I got a full team of In Forms from the club I support, FC Porto. In FUT 12, I started right from the start to get a lot of coins and quickly gathered my Dream Team with BBVA players like Casillas, Ramos, Pique, Pepe, Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Xavi, Villa, Dani Alves so the only way I could get motivated to keep playing the game, was to go all out to reach the highest rated team in Fifa spot.

Question: What methods do you use, have used and from the most popular methods, like min. 59, contracts, bronze packs do you consider good or bad? What do you think about pack opening? Answer:

The most efficient method for me is still min. 59 trading. I use to say that buying packs is lottery. If people actually accounted for the coins wasted on packs they would be amazed at how much money they wasted.
The only packs I buy are the Bronze Jumbos as they have the best price-return ratio, because its not rare that youll get a card that pays for all the packs before. The rest for me are complete garbage. Ill eventually open one or two from time to time, but I never expect to make any money out of it. Once you get close to a new FIFA release, people get more and more knowladgeable about the prices, so they dont usually set buy now prices below the market price, and theres also not as many people opening packs as before. The Minute 59 technique is by far the best within the first 4 months of a Fifa Release when you can get a lot of bargains using Buy Now. Near the end of the gaming year, I switched my method a lot to open bidding IFs as its much harder to trade the 59th min.

Question: Do you focus on Gold/Silver/Bronze most popular leagues or unknown and why?

Answer: My favourite players to trade are the brazilian silvers with plenty of pace and skills because a lot of players have no idea how much theyre worth, and everyone that is hardcore in FUT loves these players. The english and brazilian silver players and the high paced bronze english players have been probably the ones that made me the most coins.

Question: What price ranges do you usually focus in? Answer:

In the beggining I look for players within the 1500-5000 range, and then as FUT fever eventually wears out a bit, I start trading In Forms between 17000 and 30000.

Question: Describe a typical trade of yours using this method and one you have made a lot of money with in the past.

Answer: My first rule is DONT BE GREEDY. I usually dont go for a lot of profit, but to do plenty of trades. For instance Ill buy a player just below the market price and put list it in Average Market price Buy Now, so that the sale is completed quickly and I can renovate the Trade Pile with more trades. In this version of Ultimate Team (FIFA 12), the card that gave me the biggest profit was an Iniesta who I bought for 113k and sold 15 minutes later in buy now for 275k. I also bought na insane quantity of IF Huntelaars at 20k and sold them at 32k . Regarding this version of FUT, the players that have made me the most money have been Neto Berola, bronze Taylor, Cicinho, Carlos Alberto. Id say my favourite cards to trade are 4 defender formations, positions, Team fitness cards and rare silver players.

Question: What general rules and tips for trading FUT would you say that will work in every FIFA version in the future?

Answer: Use ultimatedb.nl as your main tool for trading. Check prices but dont rely on Average prices as they may mistake you. Verify the graphic and confirm the real market value a particular player has been sold at lately. Average value can be affected by some insane trades and thus be very far off the real value. As I said, the first 4 months of FUT are always the best to trade using the 59th minute. Christmas is incredible as a lot of kids now ask for packs from their daddies. Take a close look at the happy hours, they are the best time, not to buy packs, but to trade, because there are a lot of people buying packs non-stop, not having inventory space for more cards and so just put them on sale for ridiculous prices. There was one happy hour that I spent 960k coins buying cards, but in the next two days, I had sold all those cards for 1,3 Million.

Take a close look to what tournaments are coming up. For instance, there was a St. Patricks day tournament in Fifa 12 and Fifa 11 so it will probably also be one in Fifa 13. If you stock up on Irish players days before, youll make bank.
Sometimes if youre having a hard time to sell a player, its worth it to change the position or the formation to a more popular one, because people will pay more to avoid the work. (cont.)

Predict the Market Crashes

Id say by mid December, sell up all your cards and buy them back in January after TOTY is released. Two examples: normal Iniesta value dropped 50k after TOTY was released, Ronaldo dropped 80k, but by the end of January they went back to their previous prices. So sell up players when theyre at their peak, and then buy them back after an IF or TOTY version is released. You can also use this to make a lot of money, if you buy these players and wait a few weeks. Buy In form players that will know will gain value with time (quick CBs, 5* skillers, very rare silvers) For istance I bought a Sergio Ramos CB IF for 200k when it first was released, sold it and a few months later I had to spend 300k on the same player because it became very rare. Take special attention for the older IF, when a new version comes out. I made a lot of money on Ben Arfa IF1, as people flogged the market with it when the IF2 came out. Price bounced back and nearly doubled a week later. (cont.)

Subscribe to the video of famous youtubers that post about FIFA, as when they post reviews about one particular player, they actually get its price to rise! Use two accounts in bidding wars to up the bid price very slowly, to try to get the other guy to quit. To avoid losing 5% tax on a sale, do a trade offer to one of your other accounts right from the start and bid on the player. That way if no one covers your bid, just accept the trade offer and you wont lose any tax or the card. Visit FIFA forums regularly to know which players are not coming out of packs anymore and buy some as their price immediately increases after the update. I made incredible amounts of money due to this with silver Carlos Alberto, silver Mangala, and silver Marlos. Always have the 5% tax in mind. A lot of people lose money on trades because they dont. The best time to have your auctions end are 6pm to 00am London Time, but always try to get a few bids in during the night. So bid in cards whose auction is ending 4am and further as much less people are trading and you might get away and pickup a very cheap player.

To save up on coins: Buy rare Managers so youll have contract bonus. Dont buy Injury, Fitness or Morale cards. Always have two squads. In order to recover fitness or injury just place the players on the other squad as subs and play a few games. If your morale is low play an easy offline tournament.

If youre just starting out, use the bronze tournaments to accumulate some coins. You can make around 700 coins playing each bronze game, but the thing is Bronze contracts are very cheap and you can pick them up at 150 each, so you can play 18 games, spending 1650 coins on player contracts and get 12600 coins from prize money. Thats 11k profit right there. Also be on the lookout for badge and kit. Some are very expensive so dont just throw them out.

and my golden rule

To make a lot of coins you need to have a lot of coins, so I always keep at least 500k on my trading account even if that means passing out on a good trade.

This is a guide to dominate FIFA Ultimate Team.

However, the objective is not to tell you how to play because each player has it's own style. What I want you to do is to develop your own style with all the tips and secrets included in this Guide. The style I've developed is playing mostly with crosses and headers. It's very effective when perfected. I rarely ever do skills, but I've played vs some amazing skillers and they're very hard to defend against because of the mechanics of the game. This means if they do a skill in my box and Ive got that particular player covering him in auto defence, its like that the player who does a trick wins a penalty. Although I have a set style of play, doesnt mean I dont score other type of goals, it means, whenever Im in trouble to sco re goals, I have perfected a crossing and heading method that allows me to score goals against the hardest opponents which is basically to anticipate your striker to the movement of the defender. As you know and I've said many times, FIFA Ultimate Team is a totally different game than Head to Head because the game speed is much higher, and you need to get used to that higher pace. One thing I tried to do all the time and figured out that fails is to do Manual Defending unless you can afford defenders of around 90 rating, dont even try it as you just wont be able to catch the strikers, if your opposition is any good. Attributes like pace, strength and agility rule and so, any crappy players who have high ratings in these 3 skills play like Gods.

Custom Work Rates

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

I definitely wasn't a great player in the beginning, but nowadays with the right team, I lose 1 game in about 50.
Obviously you're always going to lose some games, deal with it. There'll be always a game where you will hit the post 4 times, and the other guy will just defend and score from a corner. It's just the way it is in real football too, and that's why we love Fifa... its the most realistic football simulator in the world.

If I had to put down the one thing that flipped the coin for me and ensured I started winning it was Custom Tactics and Workrates. 99% of people don't do it because they can't be bothered, yet it makes all the difference between winning or losing. Why? Because some players are absolute monsters, yet work rates kill them. A good example are fullbacks like Dani Alves. While he's a great player, and possibly the best Right Back in Fifa, you can forget about him defending with his Normal work rate or High attack/Low defense. However, with custom medium work rates he is brilliant and always in the right place. So What I do is I build a custom Tactic with custom strategy and work rates in the Team Management back in FIFA first menu.

What you should do with custom work rates is something like this:

Attacking - Defensive Full backs CBs CDM CM CAM Wingers ST/CF Medium - High Low - High Low/Medium - High Medium - Medium/High High - Low/Medium High - Low High - Low

Then whenever a game starts, I pause it, go to Team Management, and change tactics and formation. Try this and tell me it isn't MUCH Better!

Anatomy of a Great 11
Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

What makes a team succeed in FUT though? The Goalkeeper Having a great goalkeeper makes a whole LOT of difference, and in the GK spot stats are a lie! The most important Stats in a GK are diving, reflexes. Height was very important in FIFA 12, but its not that important in FIFA 13 as its much harder to score with finesse shots. Handling is more important in FIFA 13 than it was in FIFA 12. Keepers are more likely to not being able to catch the ball in longshots if they have low handling. Positioning I personally never feel it makes a big difference. Build a team around your Goalkeeper if needed, it is one of the most important positions in the game, and one thats not down to skill at all, but to stats, as you have no control over the keeper.

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

Fifa Ultimate Team Millionaire | 2012

P. 71

Fullbacks You need pace in any wing position. There's no other way around it. Any noob can buy a 90+ pace winger like Gervinho, Walcott, Lennon, Bale, etc, and as shit as they may be technically, their pace will ruin you if you don't have a 85+ pace fullback.

Another thing that's very important for fullback is height/str/heading.

Against the top players you'll be conceding a lot of goals on the furthest post as an opposition striker jumps with your fullback and wins in the air. Another very important stat is agility. This is why a full back like Maicon was better than the overrated Abate in Fifa 12, because although Abate is lightning quick, you'd be concending a lot of goals from headers. So buy fullbacks with at least: around 85 pace, around 180cm. Even Jose Mourinho himself hates Fullbacks under 1,80 in reality and theres a reason why he does it. Other stats to compare Fullbacks are high Strength, Heading, Agility. Agility is an underrated stat that is key in a fullback. If youre defending against a quick winger like Robben or Di Maria, who can turn very quickly, and you have a player with low agility, you only have one chance of clearing the ball. If they can dribble you, youre done and might as well switch to another player. High agility defenders are more forgiving in regards to actually letting you chase wingers until you can tackle them or clear the ball. Technical stats like dribbling and ball control are cool too, but when buying a defender you should focus on defensive stats first.

Centre Backs
You need at least one CB with close or above 80 pace to succeed. You know almost every guy on Fifa Ultimate Team buys the quickest players for the attack. If you're facing those teams with slow defenders, your only chance is either to play ultra defensive formation or outscore the Other guy, because if he's any good, he'll only need one positioning mistake from your CBs to get a free run and score. Now while pace is great but some quick CBs suck. So you need at least one CB that is very good at tackling, heading and defending in general. In my last FIFA12 team you can see I have both Sergio Ramos and Chiellini and they can catch any virtually any striker in the world on pace. One of the big secrets to get away with having a slower Centre Back is to actually get one with lower Aggression, and play him on Auto Defending at all times, so try not to switch to him. Hummels is a good example, as he only has 75 Agression, so even though his stats look crappy hes very good. What this lower aggression does it that it makes sure he doesnt chase strikers around and always stays in position so the room for errors decreases a lot. If you're playing any tactic with 3 CBs, the 2 on the sides should be the quickest so they can chase wingers if needed, and the one in the center should be the tallest and best at heading.

Midfielders
While I play a Midfield 3, my midfield in game looks nothing like in the default tactics. I find it key to have a CDM playing in front of the Back 4. I recommend that your CDM is the quickest possible as hell need to chase the ball around some. What my midfield looks like in game is: CM CM CDM Obviously you shouldn't copy me, and should make up your own team to suit your style. There isn't one right team and right formation, there can only be the right for your style. I'll say Pace is not that important for midfielders. I see people doing the same mistake all the time of converting CF and Striker as CM just because they have pace. Unless you have a very weird but effective style of play, or are an insane dribbler, this is really dumb most of the times, because most strikers don't have Vision or good passing which you need to set up plays against the best players in the game. The ball runs faster than the players. What your midfielders need to do is to tackle and intercept, and pass the ball to your forwards, that's it. While having pace is a plus, you can notice my midfielders aren't lightning fast and i find it perfectly fine, because they can tackle and pass the ball well. To score goals, I let my forwards do the running job.

P. 74

Wingers/Strikers Wingplay is my specialty and what I'm good at. While I don't even use skills in general, I can go past players easily by using quick wingers with high agility and reactions. Obviously your front setup will depend a lot on your style, but I'll advise you to have at least one player with around 1,85 to give you a heading option. Surprisingly the Heading accuracy stat is very, very overrated. To score headers, you need 3 stats that actually are unrelated to heading: Height, positioning, finishing. Then I'd put jumping and strength as important. Heading accuracy wouldn't even make the Top 5. About the wingers, you generally should think of two options. You either have a Left Wingers with Left foot or left Wingers with Right foot, and the same could be said for the other side. Having a right footed left winger can be amazing if your style of play is to score finesse shots, but your crossing will most of the times suck, unless your winger has 5* weak foot. I play Robben on the left so he can cross. Most of you would probably say that's wasting him, but it works for me. What I recommend is if you play 2 wingers, play one with the changed side foot and one with the equal side foot, so you have a finesse option and a crossing option. So you'd play a Left Footed Right Winger, and a Left Footed Left winger, or a Right footed Right winger and a right footed left winger. This way you'll have the best of both worlds.

I play a defensive minded formation in most tough games. The slower your defence is the more you should play a defensive formation. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of people attacking anyway. Another reason to play defensive is that most guys play with quick players that aren't that good with the ball in close spaces, so without the space to run, their gameplay worsens and you have a better chance of beating them. If your style is attacking minded, you better hope your defenders can run fast. Always approach a game with a defensive mindset first. Put the team in Defensive mode for at least the first 10 minutes to evaluate what you're dealing with.

It doesn't matter if you're playing a 75 or a 90 rated team, you need to know what you're in for, so you won't get surprised by a quick attack.
After 10 mins., if the guy doesn't look like a world beater, switch to your normal mindset if you want. I used to concede a lot of goals in the first 5 to 10 minutes. When I started using this, I stopped leaking this kind of goals. Team Pressing Please use this! I don't care if you'll have to be buying fitness cards sooner, using this option is an amazing trick for interceptions. It saves me so many goals and work.

Other Tips and Tricks

Develop a playing Edge

What this means is to get better at certain plays and perfect them in every match. Everyone tries the 1-2 between the two strikers, so that's just the most common attacking play in FIFA. As such, people are used to defending against it, so while it may work against noobs, it won't work against skilled opponents with pace in the defense. So develop 2/3 typical plays between your forwards and use them all the time. When you get used to them, you'll be able to win games just because you're very good at that particular play, and have developed it to the point where it's practically impossible to defend against it.

A trick to not having to buy fitness/injury cards ever I think most of you know this, but if you have two teams, you can play with tired/injured players as subs/reserves of the other team to restore fitness.

About Penalties I have no idea why, but I've found statistically (I actually took notes of this) that most FIFA players shoot pens at the middle.

Why do you Concede Headed Goals?

Ive scored thousands of headed goals and almost never concede them. Why? Because 99% of the players I meet make the same two mistakes: - They panic when the cross comes in and hit the clear button repeatedly - They dont move the defender (or forward if they are attacking) Get something in your head: In order to win Headers, ON ANY part of the pitch, you can only hit the (pass or shoot) button once! If you hit it twice or more, you will lose the header. Another thing is that you need to get to the ball first. The real Heading PROs move the player as the cross comes in, in order to anticipate the defender or attacker and clear the ball or score the goal. It takes some practice, sure but if you get it right, youll transform yourself into a goal machine and stop conceding 50% of your goals.

FIFA 13
What has Changed?

Purchased by ILEANA Gonzlez, ileanags@intercable.net

So a big question in everyones mind right now is what has changed in FIFA 13? To be perfectly honest although some things have changed, it doesnt seem like much did, regarding what we need to change in Gameplay to win. Ive seen a few things that hopefully Ill have a chance to develop thoroughly in the next Guide updates, and the Insider Trading Reports. It seems easier to get balls inside the box through the ground. So Strikers with high dribbling and agility are a MUST, as most defenders seem to have lost agility. Pace seems even more important in the attack, and super quick players like Giovinco play like Gods now. Sadly this didnt improve from FUT12. Long shots are much easier to score with. Headers are much harder to connect even if the cross is good. Finesse shots are much harder to score. Long through passes are harder to get right

Pass strength measure seems more important and less automatic than in Fifa 12. If you pass the ball with too much strength, it will bounce off the receives feet and hes likely to lose the ball.
Ball control seems tighter which is great for technical midfielders like Pirlo, but the low pace ends still hurts them too much. Heavy tackling and Interceptions in midfield are just as important if not more. So big, bad tacklers in the midfield will still be much needed, as well as Tall midfielders with good heading. If your Defensive Mid is short you will struggle to win balls from Goal Kicks.
