About 150,000 to 200,000 people are hospitalized for this disease each year.

There are around 14 types of hantavirus!

The most common place the hanta is found is china. The Hantavirus is classified as a virus.

SYMPTOMS OF HANTA VIRUS

The symptoms that come from the Hanta Virus are; Chills , Fevers, muscles aches

The first stages of the virus is Dry mouth, head aches, nausea and vomiting and shortness of breath.
Treatments include: Oxygen, Breathing machines in severe cases, A medication called ribavirin to treat kidney-related problems and reduced risk of death. There is no effective treatment for the hantavirus infection involving the lungs.

HOW THE HANTA SPREADS

If a rodent with the virus bites someone, the virus may be spread to that person, but this type of transmission is rare. If you touch something that is contaminated and it gets near your mouth or nose. If you consume anything that has been contaminated by urine, droppings of rodents.
