    NEW PLAYS FESTIVAL 2014

    FIU Theatre welcomes everyone to our 2014 installment of our annual New Plays Festival. The Festival offers the FIU Community the chance to see the newest creative works by student playwrights before anyone else. The new plays will be presented in the form of staged readings, which offers the playwrights the chance to see and hear their work on stage. It is a way to help young playwrights understand how what they have written will hold up in performance. The plays selected were chosen by members of the faculty after an open call for entries. This years program of staged readings runs Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22, at 8:00pm in Deuxieme Maison (DM) 150, Modesto A. Madique Campus. This is not a ticketed event and is free to all.
