Internship Research Assistant at Corporate Research

(Solar Energy Systems Power Converters) We are offering an internship position within the Research and Technology Center Asia Pacific of Bosch Corporate Research in Singapore starting from February or March 2014 for the duration of six months.
Activities: Be part of a research team, and play an important role in innovating and developing solar energy systems electronic hardware for off-grid applications Participate in prototype build and debugging Learn about battery charging and discharging regimes Assist in designing improved versions of the prototype Perform testing of the prototype with real solar system Experimental measurement and evaluation

Requirements: Student must be eligible for Singapore Visa: http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreignmanpower/passes-visas/work-holiday-programme/before-you-apply/Pages/default.aspx Good student in a master degree program in electrical/electronic engineering Technical knowledge on power converters, electronic circuits design and embedded control Practical experience in hardware implementation is preferred. Self-motivated and willing to gain hands-on experience Basic knowledge on MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation
