Solve simple addition and subtraction problems using a range of efficient mental and written strategies (ACMN030) Solve problems by using number sentences for addition or subtraction (ACMNA036)

Students will be assessed on their beginning knowledge of subtraction. Their work on the interactive whiteboard will show the depth of their knowledge. The IPads will be collected for further assessment students ability and understanding

Students will review addition and will be using this knowledge to subtraction. The programs the students will be using on the IPads and interactive whiteboard serve as an introduction into subtraction of numbers one through 30.
