Batch 2010! We need you to submit your write-ups.

This will appear in the


yearbook, so please take it seriously! It also counts as an English requirement,
so it will be graded.

Format:

• 250 – 400 words ONLY


• May be written by you or by other people.
* If you write for yourself, write it in essay-form (e.g., 1st person). If you have
other people write for you, it must be in 3rd person. CHOOSE ONLY ONE
STYLE.
• Maximum of four (4) people may contribute to your write-up.
* Please include the names of those who wrote, how you associate with
them (e.g., “classmate in Diamond”. If none, put 'Friend'), and what they
wrote. See links below for examples.
• Strictly English or Filipino, no Taglish. If ever English or Filipino words
must be used, please italicize them.
• Content must be descriptive, no messages or dedications. (e.g., “Maria!
Kamusta ka na?”, “Juan, when you read this 10 years from now..”)
• Avoid the use of generic words such as “nice”, “friendly”, and “smart”.
• Language must be socially acceptable (no text speak, no foul language),
and as much as possible, grammatically correct.
• Content must be coherent.

WRITE-UPS DEEMED UNACCEPTABLE WILL BE REJECTED AND


RETURNED FOR REVISION.

the data form.

*Batch numbers will be posted.

If you do not submit your write-up on time, the yearbook editors will
write it for you using a basic template (see separate post). So please
submit as soon as possible!
