Steed 2033 South Great Basin Drive Washington, UT 84780 March 17, 2014 To Whom It May Concern: I was so excited to hear about the opportunity of working for Intermountain Healthcare. I am anticipating graduation from Dixie State University with an Associates Degree in Nursing in May 2014. I have a passion and desire for helping people with my nursing skills that I have developed. I have worked for Intermountain Healthcare in the Cardiology Department since May 2012, I would love the opportunity to continue being a part of the healthcare team by gain experience, utilize and enhance my knowledge and skills to provide quality patient care and grow as a professional nurse. I am motivated and energetic and will take the initiative in getting the job done. I enjoy working in a busy environment where I am able to utilize my organizational skills. I am a self-starter, and look forward to challenges. I am very compassionate about nursing and providing quality patient care. My patients health and safety are my number one priority. Through my clinical practice, and academic studies I have learned to think quickly and critically, manage patients and recognize the importance of team work. I am therefore, able to perform such functions as: developing, implementing and modifying nursing care plans, assessing patients and their needs and interacting with patients and their families to provide them with necessary information. Thank you for this opportunity to apply for a position with Intermountain which will continue my career with Intermountain Healthcare. Sincerely,
