ALWAYS TELLING THE TRUTH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION IN A RELATI ONSHIP We have all been taught since

childhood that 'Honesty is the best policy'. We h ave all heard it and we will tell this to our children in the future. Why is tha t so? Why has this saying endured for so long? Simply because it is true;and it is more important in relationships, be it with your loved ones or a bussiness re lationship. So I agree that telling the truth is the most important consideratio n in any relationship. Yes relationships consist of other aspects too like love and respect, but the ba se is honesty. without which the other aspects will cease to or will never exist . Telling the truth breeds a feeling of dependability for the other person. You know that the other person can be counted on to be there when things go bad, esp ecially when things go bad. You have an assurance that the person will be straig ht with you and give you all the facts. This is important if a fix to the proble m is to be found. On a personal level truth avoids suspicions, misunderstandings and the inevitabl e fights; lies always come out someday, somewhere. M.K Gandhi always said ' I do not lie because I have a bad memory!' The more lies you tell the more fake stor ies you have to remember. It's as simple. Small 'white' lies may seem lucrative at the moment. It would get you through a sticky situation but in the long run honesty is what pays off. Trust,faith,depen dance and respect are the very important cornerstones on which a relationship st ands, and they all are possible if only both the parties are honest amd open to each other. Honesty is what will help flourish a budding relationship. It always will.
