Joint Statement: The ICT Integration Project requires the assimilation of an ICT that aids in students learning experiences.

The aim is to design and present a thirty minute activity to the class that highlights how an ICT can be incorporated into the classroom and is based around a selected subject. The Project must include a detailed Forward Planning Document outlining four lessons that utilise a range of different ICT technologies. The Forward Planning document must also incorporate specific learning outcomes based on the Australian Curriculum. The ICT Integration Project requires detailed planning, and clear development and progression to formulate a final class project. The final learning resource will be presented on a Weebly web page that clearly outlines the project layout and details. A clear Mind Map should be included on the Teachers Page of the Weebly web page which will define how each area of the ICT Integration Project connects to the particular learning outcome of the Curriculum. The project also requires a planned discussion to take place to further illustrate how the ICT contributes to the designed project. The ICT Integration Project offers the opportunity to present a planned lesson in a supportive and semi-authentic environment. The discussion invites the exploration of key concepts encountered in the readings and in the workshop. The group goal is to design an activity with practical learning objectives for a specified year level. It is important that the designed activity models good practice in the effective integration of ICT. The ICT project should also incorporate interactive qualities that engage the other students in the class and allows them to develop knowledge about our selected form of ICT. The aim for this project is to facilitate and enrich student centred learning, integrate interactive ICT into the classroom, and design a creative enjoyable project for the students. The established learning theory this project will be supported by is cognitive theory as the students will learn from personal experience. Lauren Haworth and Stephanie Butler
