    Urban farming has a revival in Los Angeles. We follow four urban gardeners' struggle against the City and their families to reclaim a skill that seemed lost. Rishi Kumar gave up a a promising IT career to start an urban farm in his parents' backyard. Ron Finley lives in South L.A., a food desert, where there are few alternatives to fast food. Ron decided to teach people how to grow food in front of their homes, which turned out to be in violation of City code. He fought back against the City and became an internet sensation. Adam and Jenna Barber are a young hipster couple growing vegetables and raising chickens in Mid-City. They grow food for themselves and trade the surplus to a local restaurant for dining credit.
