    How to Initialize the Microprocessor in a Denon AVR-1801 1: Turn off the power to the receiver.

    The power button on the remote control can be used to shut off the receiver but make sure it is completely turned off and not just in standby mode. Do not unplug the receiver. Existing speaker and device connections can remain in place. 2: Simultaneously hold down the "Speaker A" and "Speaker B" buttons and press the "Power" button. Verify that the display is blinking in onesecond intervals and then release the two speaker buttons. The receiver will restart and power back on. 3. Wait for the receiver to complete the powerup cycle and check the settings to verify that the reset was successful. The receiver will begin the conguration process. Enter your new settings and save the changes to complete the process.
