Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng) Recipes

Ingredients : 2 cups long-grain rice, rinsed 1.5 tbsp peanut oil 2 eggs, lightly beaten 4 green shallots, finely sliced 2 cloves garlic, crushed 2 small red chilies, deseeded and finely chopped 300g chicken thigh fillets, diced 1 carrot, finely sliced or grated 2 cups shredded hinese cabbage 100g pra!ns, peeled and cooked 2-3 tbsp s!eet soy sauce "kecap manis# 1 tbsp soy sauce Method : ook rice in boiling !ater for 10-12 minutes or until cooked. $rain and rinse. %eat 2 tsp oil in a !ok. &dd egg and s!irl to coat the !ok to form an omelette. Note - 'his dish can be served as a meal !ith chicken satay and garnished !ith a fried egg. +ngredients in rice can vary to suit your taste. +f serving !ith meats you can omit the chicken and pra!ns.
