Ten-time Paralympic gold medalist Brian McKeever to make keynote address for CNIB Visions events Most celebrated

Canadian Paralympian to talk about overcoming vision loss and aiming for gold EDMONTON and CALGARY Canadas most celebrated Paralympian, Brian McKeever, will be addressing audiences in Edmonton and Calgary as a keynote speaker for CNIBs 2014 Visions fundraising events. Recently adding three more gold medals at the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Games, McKeever made history by becoming the first Canadian Winter Paralympian to win 10 gold medals in a career. Im excited to share my story and be a part of CNIBs fundraising efforts, said McKeever. I know that CNIB does incredible work for Canadians with vision loss. Brian is not only a celebrated athlete but an inspiration to all Canadians who have vision loss, said John McDonald, executive director and regional vice-president for CNIB Alberta and Northwest Territories. He reminds us of what is possible that vision loss doesnt have to be a loss of our dreams. And we are proud that he is one of Albertas own, added McDonald.
