 The education system in Pohnpei is similar to the education system in the United States. All the way up to Grade 8. Entrance beyond that is based on examination results. Both public and private schools are operated.

 In FSM, we express our culture with our island cultures. Each FSM state possess their own cultural skills. Just like Guam, Pohnpei also does traditional dances. There is this one dance, Lehp, it known as the marching dance. Both men and women sing while doing this performance.

 The government composes of three branches, similar to the United States, Judiciary, Executive, and Legislative. The Legislative branch consists of 23 senators and is unicameral. The Executive branch by a freely elected Governor. Lastly, the Judiciary branch has a Chief Justice along with Associate Justices.
