Estee Woods has successfully completed 21 hours of in-class training relative to theory and application

of various physical agent modalities. ln addition, the student has had many additional hours of out-ofclass

study. Estee has demonstrated entry level competency and technical proficiency with understanding and application of these agents. Estee has successfully completed written and practical

clinical examinations.
The physicalagent modalities included the following:

Superficial heat agents to include hydrotherapy, therapeutic ultrasound, moist heat, fluidotherapy, paraffin and the use ofcontrast baths. Cryotherapy to include the use of cold packs, compression units and ice massage. Electrotherapy to include transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TENS), neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and iontophoresis.
Tissue healing measures to include non-thermal ultrasound, phonophoresis, and

Low level laser light therapy.
