Dearborn Dearborn, MI 48128 Dear Professor Grimble, My name is Matthew Hunt. Im a freshman and I just completed my first semester at The University of Michigan- Dearborn with a 3.46 GPA. I graduated from Livonia Stevenson High School. During my time there, I was a 3 year varsity baseball player, but unfortunately never got the chance to get a scholarship to play in college. When I was 9 years old I played in the Little World Series in Puerto Rico but unfortunately my team came in last place. Currently, I work at The Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders in Farmington Hills. What I do at my job is I work in the Medical Records Department where I take patient documents and scan them into the computer which can consist of message sheets, scripts, blood work, and many others. I have one older brother who graduated from Central Michigan University in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. His fianc Courtney graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2009 with a degree in Finance. I am beyond excited to continue my second semester here at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I am looking forward to Composition 280 because Im intrigued to learn about the different ways businesses communicate such as through email, letters, portfolios, faxes, etc. This is going to be very beneficial to me because Im going to be majoring in Business. My goal is to earn the best possible grade by putting the necessary time and effort not only in this class but for all my classes. I can use this mindset not only in the classroom but in my everyday life to achieve great success.
