b. Identify the difference between citizenship and national origin.

Citizenship is the fact or status of being a citizen of a particular place; the qualities that a person is expected to have as a responsible member of a community. Under the encyclopedia section of the Merriam-Webster website, citizenship is further described as: The relationship between an individual and a state in which the individual owes allegiance to the state and in turn is entitled to its protection. In general, full political rights, including the right to vote and to hold public office, are predicated on citizenship.
