Be sure to include your personal thoughts on the issue. Climate change is the local environmental issue we are considering here. Climate change refers to change in climate which is attributed to human activities directly or indirectly that hampers the global atmosphere and climate variability attributable to natural causes. Climate change effects our economy and health in many ways. This affects agriculture due to variations in temperature, impacts on world food supplies, especially in less developed countries. Climate change has impact on society and infrasructure that supports civilization. Population on economic growth will lead to increase in energy demand and electricity demand. It is caused by human economic activities as they release certain pollutants like release of carbon dioxide, methane gases etc that causes green house effect. It also has an effect on fresh water system as it changes in presipitation and soil moisture. This increases the risk of illness and death due to too much of heat and heat waves. Some diseases transmitted by food, water and insects are likely to increase. To solve this problem one should make cars that burn less gases, modernized power plants and generate electricity from non-polluting sources and cut our electricity used through energy efficiency. Conserve energy and use it more efficiently. At last it is concluded that if actions are not taken as soon as possible to reduce the impacts of human activities on climate changes, the consequences could be far reaching.
