These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

These I Have Loved:

Long summer days;

The sight in the meadow of birds taking flight;

A cool Winters night;

The moon in West;

the sun in the East;

the clouds in the sky far above out of reach;

the murmur of wind lying soft on your ear;

the sound of the flute you can barely hear;

Harness bells that make the air ring;

the happiness of peoples voices that make your heart sing;

waterproof boots; waterproof hats; longing for rain to find its way back;

dew drops on flowers that are warmed by the sun; birds looks playful and ready for fun;

people reading books of lands afar; Christmas trees ordained with stars;

lightning that is angry; thunder that talks;

my dog on his leash running me around the block;

the flying embers from a fire late at night; a tigers fur burning bright;

All of these have been my loves.

And these, alas, shall pass.
