RE: SHOSHANA SPRAGUE

Dear Educator; I am writing on behalf of Shoshana Sprague. She was a first and third grade teacher in our school for three years. Shoshana left at the close of the 2011-12 with the full support of the senior administration to pursue an advanced degree in education. We have continued to keep in touch and I feel comfortable describing her as an educator of quality. Shoshana is an organized and skilled teacher. She was responsible in her successful completion of detailed lesson plans, well - written student reports, and fulfillment of basic duties. Shoshana was consistently commended for her persistent care and attention for her students. Her students understood that she was concerned about their welfare and in turn, they worked very hard to meet every expectation she set. Shoshanas great passion to serve students better was at the core of her desire to develop a unique learning experience. Her lessons were clear in their design, easily accessible to students, and engaging in their action. Shoshana participated in department meetings and staff meetings and was encouraged to take leadership role in developing our curriculum further. Her colleagues sought Shoshana for her wealth of knowledge and good sense of humor. She was able to respectfully discuss students and knowledgeably examine curriculum with her fellow teachers. It is without hesitation that I this recommendation for Shoshana Sprague. It was a privilege to work with her at the Rodeph Sholom School. Sincerely,
