Most natural images employ analog media. To be useful to computers, they must be converted to the digital domain. A digital image/graphic is a picture that may be stored in, displayed on, or otherwise processed by a computer. When pictures are stored in digital form, it is relatively easy to modify an image by altering one or more pixels.
