Running head: BSN PROGRAM OUTCOMES Collaborative Leadership Provide collaborative leadership roles in the provision, delegation, and

supervision of nursing care while retaining accountability for patient safety and the quality of that care. (Ferris State University, 2011) My perception of collaborative leadership is an accumulation of working together throughout the health care spectrum providing optimal quality of care and promoting positive outcomes and patient safety across the continuum of care. I do this on a day to day basis in my role as the Unit Coordinator for Bronson Home Health Care. I provide direct clinical supervision to multiple disciplines, delegate tasks and provide continuing education. I hold my clinicians accountable, as well as myself to the outcomes of our clients. I will include documentation from my employment that meets criteria, such as case conferences that I lead two times a month. I will provide possible case studies that I lead with my team as an educational opportunity for improvement of coordination of care for our clients. Those mentioned items are just a few things that come to mind that I can provide that will show that I have successfully met the collaborative leadership outcome.
