OUTOMES Access, evaluate, process and apply information efficiently and effectively. INDICATORS 1. Identify, locate, retrieve and differentiate among a variety of electronic sources of information using technology. 2. Evaluate information critically and competently for a specific purpose. 3. Organize, categorize and store information for efficient retrieval. 4. Apply information accurately in order to solve a problem or answer a question.

ISTE 1. Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity


OUTOMES Teachers use their knowledge of subject matter, teaching and learning, and technology to facilitate experiences that advance student learning, creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments. INDICATORS a. Promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness b. Engage students in exploring real-world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources c. Promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes d. Model collaborative knowledge construction by engaging in learning with students, colleagues, and others in face-to-face and virtual environments ARTIFACTS ALIGNMENT

Candidate will develop a research question, gather information on the question from on-line resources and produce an electronic product (e.g., Web page, PowerPoint presentation) to present the question and findings.
