Here are some small but effective tips and tricks which can help you maximize your chances in getting selected in IIT JEE. 1. Make a chart or an excel sheet and write all the topics of the syllabus. 2. Sample papers You must do 10 -15 sample papers in this duration. You must set time and do them very seriously. After completing it, go through the solutions, find out your score. Make a table with coloums of sample paper number, score, individual section score, questions un-attempted, questions attempted, questions correct and questions wrong. 1 to 2 sample papers must be done each week. 3. Once you have calculated your score, find out all the questions that you have wrongly marked. Look at the answer and try understanding the way of solving this problem. Identify the topic from which that question is asked. Make note of the topic on a piece of paper. Repeat the same process with the questions which you were not able to do. Now you have thoroughly

revised the whole sample paper and you know which areas you need to work on. Compare your scores and improvement with previous sample papers, if you have done any. Also check the questions which you marked correctly but were not sure about the answer. Repeat point 3 for these questions too. Now, categorize for each topic, if you need practice or if you just need to know the theory to get the hold on the topic. Once you have done that. Make small reading of the sub topics and try out as many objective questions as you can to become confident in that topic. Please do not read the entire chapter; target is not to waste time. It is to maximize the score. You have to make sure you will not miss any question from this topic in your next sample test. Side by side try completing the topics which were left. We are quite sure your syllabus would not be completed yet. Some topics from physics which can be completed in small time and can fetch you good marks Modern Physics, wave, optics, etc. But please do not waste all the time in these topics only. These are easy to understand and less time taking. ChemistryChemical kinetics, Chemical equilibrium, periodic table trends. Questions are asked from these topics every year. However, weight-age of these topics might differ. Maths Calculus takes a lot of time. However, it is the key to success in Mathematics. You must be thorough with the graphs of different functions.
