Report on English Campaign 2014 English Language Society IPG Kampus Tun Hussein Onn held an English Campaign

on 1 July 2014 to 31 July 2014. The duration of this campaign is one month. All college students were involved in this campaign. There were a lot of activities such as reading campaign, essay writing competition, poetry recital and elocution contest. The objective of campaign is to improve and develop interest in English. The organizer based the college students to at least read two books such as fiction or story book weekly. Students did the reading report after reading the books and handed them to organizer. The English Language Society also held inter-class competitions. The was an essay writing competition held on 10 July 2014. The best essay came from group PISMP TESL Sem 3 titled English is fun. The second competition was poetry recital held on 15 July 2014. The winner of this competition was Joanne lew from PISMP Mathematics Sem 5 who recited a poem an titled Love. The last competition was elocution contest held on 20 July 2014. The best speaker came from group PISMP RBT GSTT Sem 5. All were presented with certificates and winner hampers each. As a conclusion, there awere a lot of students who were actively involved in every activities. Therefore, the objective of this campaign was achieved.
