Family First

It all began with a simple question, To which she replied she could not answer, She was honest, a lovely expression, No hate, even though he outcasted her, Due to her virtues she was married off, To France she went, to only soon return, Although she was ill-used, she did not scoff, The king was lost, she was showing concern, She formed an army to save her father, No grudges were present; just affection, As for her sisters, she did not bother, As for regret, she had no objection, For she knew her fathers love was not gone, Even after death, her beauty lived on.
