Holguin Lead Radiology Nurse St. Vincent Medical Center 2123 West Third Street Los Angeles, CA 90057 Dear Mrs. Holguin I will be graduating from Atwater High School in June and am interested in becoming a Lead Radiology nurse. Radiology in general is very fascinating. Dealing with X-rays, ultrasounds, and other machinery to find broken bones, diseases, and other abnormalities is an interesting thing to look forward to when departing from home to go to work. This career first interested me when one of my younger sibling had to have an X-ray on his elbow and as a result my interest in becoming a lead Radiology nurse. There are several reasons why a Radiology nurse is essential one of them is that before a patient is put through procedure they must be informed what the procedure consists of. Another reason why Radiology nurses are necessary is that they check patients medicine, vital signs, NPO status, laboratory results and medical history. I would gladly welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my qualifications. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely,

Edith Castillo
