March 5, 2014 Dear Parents, The Read-across America Parade will be on Friday at 1:45.

This year the parade will be called The Favorite Book Parade. Each child needs to bring their favorite book from home or use a library book from school. The children will be carrying their books in the parade. The children may wear their Cat in the Hat hat this day also. If they bring a hat tomorrow we will just keep it for the parade. Reminder: Tomorrow is Dress in Stripes and Wear a Cat in the Hat hat Day. Also we will have our Read-a-Thon morning. Your child may bring a sleeping bag, small pillow, and stuffed animal as well as books from home for our morning reading. If you volunteered to come in and read to the children the Parent Readers time is from 11:40-12:15.
