Questions for Interview 1. Why are you interested in music?

I wanted a way to stand out against the crowd, I like my bars to be as clever as the production. Ive got to be different to everyone else. I cant spit the same as them. 2. Which artist would you say youre similar to? Id say Im the Lou Reed of rap 3. What makes you think youre similar to that person? Well it came from my fans. Ive heard the comparisons and I find it very flattering, but I also agree. I think I am the Lou Reed of rap. He was different to everyone else. I might not share the difficulties he had, but I rap about personal things and also things that actually matter. However, I admit Im not yet as iconic as Lou. Lou changed his scene, I cant say the same about myself. Not yet. I want to though. I want to be the one that in 15 years, people blame for starting this new hip-hop craze. 4. How do certain songs, Meth Labrador especially, come into being? Breaking bad. No, Im kidding. Thought it did inspire a few of my bars. In reality, I really cant tell you. You just walk down a street sometimes and something magic happens. You can just feel inspiration rush through you. I dont think I have an explanation for it. I admit, I named one song after Ozymandias, which is a breaking bad episode, but it came into being after listening to the Icelandic band Sigur R6s. You hear a backing beat thats just shades of Hoppipola. Thats no accident. I think its a beautiful song and I wanted to capture that essence. I get praise for it a lot, so it must have worked. 5. What interests you about Iceland? I actually got invited to do a couple of gigs out there [in Iceland]. I jumped at it. Why would you turn it down? I think its a gorgeous place. I think my album actually sold better over in Iceland, Norway and Denmark than it did here. Im happy about that.

6. Is there any chance your fans will see a Scandinavian-themed album in the future? Maybe its something that might be in the pipeline. I love Nordic culture. I dont know if Id dedicate a whole album to it, but maybe a song or two. I might even spit some Danish bars.
