in its academic & as well as in specific abilities of students. There are two types of assessments .... 1.) ormative, 2.) Summative !ssessment Formative Assessment:- ormative assessment " !s# can be carried through multiple modes of assessment such as assignments, $ui%%es, debates, &roup discussions, 'ro(ects and only one pen & paper test. The other modes of assessment must be part of classroom interactive activities. Summative Assessment:- Summative !ssessment "S!s# is a written, end of the term e)amination which may consist of ob(ective type, short answer and long answer $uestions. or ma*ing mar*s evaluation system comprehensive, both scholastic and co+scholastic aspects will be given i priority. Co+scholastic areas will consist of life+s*ills, attitudes and values, co+scholastic activities & health and physical education. CCE guidelines & attern for CBSE middle classes ,-, ,-- & ,--- is as described below.. 1.) CBSE CCE scheme covers the scholastic as well as co+scholastic areas of school over . terms, Term / & Term .. 2.)
