To Whom it May Concern, I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Rochelle Mathews. I have known her since she was a student in my upper division Humanities classes. Rochelle was an exceptional student who proved herself in my rigorous Classical Heritage course and is currently receiving the third highest grade in my senior seminar. As a student she works very hard to master the material. Rochelle is always openly engaged in both classroom and group discussions, often taking the lead among her peers. Not only did she achieve an A in Classical Heritage but excelled beyond the mandatory work through assignments and papers that showed a greater amount of effort than other members of the class.
