To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to offer my recommendation on behalf of Kristen Walther. I have known Kristen since she began her student teaching in January of 2013. She was an excellent student teacher who is musically skilled, prepared, prompt, and loved by our students. At my school, she taught instrumental, choral, and music appreciation in grades 6-8. She also taught at the elementary school and high school while in our district. Kristen is eager to learn and improve as a teacher. Her effort and attendance were outstanding as were her organizational and classroom management skills. Kristen is very patient and has the ability to impart musical knowledge to students in a variety of different ways to include all learners. I have a very high level of respect for Kristen as a teacher and as a person. I have been very impressed with her strong desire to learn everything she can about music education. It was a joy to teach such an eager learner. I believe that Kristens presence would be welcomed in any educational institution and that she will be an outstanding music educator.
