I used this to introduce and teach the layers of the earth. This was a very interactive way to get the students involve and engaged with the lesson. The student go to come up to the board to drag the layers to the correct layers. To use the students prior knowledge the lesson compares the layers of the earth to an egg. The lesson compares the layers in the egg to the layers in the earth. This was a great way to present the layers of the earth lesson.
