In my field experience I will begin to get a better idea of what age group I would someday like to teach. a. I will do this by interacting with the children as much as I can and interviewing my cooperating teacher about different situations that he or she deals with pertaining to the particular age group. 2. In my field experience I want to begin to observe the multi-dimensions of a students lives including social, academic and emotional. a. I will do this by paying close attention to how different students respond to the varying situations that occur not only in the classroom but in other parts of the school. I also want to communicate with the teacher about how to best deal with these situations from the stand point of the teacher. 3. In my field experience I want to gain as much knowledge from my cooperating teacher as I possibly can. a. Given the opportunity to work with a cooperating teacher, I plan to take full advantage of their experience. I will ask questions, communicate, interview, and use all the tools my cooperating teacher offers to my benefit.
