JANGEK BUMBU PROFILE

Jangek is a cracker so much similar to Krupuk Kulit, but with more marination. My food is not normal Jangek, but Jangek with some seasonings which is called Jangek Bumbu. What makes it attractive is the shape and texture also contributes to the attractiveness of this food because we can clearly see it already marinated with the spices and seasonings. The target audience are the people who visit Padang. Particularly foreigners and tourists are being targeted because there is a huge number of them along with a huge number of stores to buy many variations of Padang snacks. This happening is normally high when it is a holiday season because there are many people visiting Padang during those times. Of course the people who visit Padang consume this food because it is a new experience for them and that the food is never found in their mother countries. It costs Rp. 10,000. Its brand is Garuda Padang and the shop where I bought this food in Pasar Oleh-Oleh. They have a variety of spices such as chili to make the seasoning, shrimps from the sea to create the avor and many coconut trees to produce the food itself. The food is sealed in a plastic packaging with 35 pieces in it. It is a snack to eat at any time. Donny Syofyan from the website padangkota.bps.go.id says that it is a wonderful snack to eat anytime that we are hungry and that it would keep our stomachs full for an amount of time. It is made of coconuts, chili, spices and seasoning
