Food for Thought


1.) We have discussed how the nutrient needs vary between different people. What are the special dietary needs of athletes? Why are their needs different? 2.) Why do you think most Canadians are unable to meet their nutrient needs? If you could give them three pieces of advice, what would they be? 3.) Why does the text state that a healthy body image is important? What do they mean? 4.) Create a poster for athletes, informing them of their nutritional needs, and provide tips on how they can meet those needs.
