    November 2, 2001 This notice introduces the improved Helmsman Windows Client 4.2.1. This CD-ROM includes the Windows Client 4.2.1 software, the user guide, a read-me file and a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document. Macintosh and UNIX software (version 4.0) are also included on this CD-ROM. The new features in the Windows 4.2.1 CD include: French support including a French user interface, an online help system and a user guide Adobe Acrobat 4.x and Adobe Reader 4.x support Windows 98 and Windows 2000 support Improved installation Preferences set automatically for the user (default preferences) Updated online help and user guide Ability to send e-mail to multiple recipients Ability to view collection descriptions (see both the name of the collection and the descriptive title of the collection) An enhanced Helmsman Registry editor capable of interfacing with W2K/NT Security requirements An automatic check for previous versions of Helmsman. If found, Helmsman will uninstall obsolete versions and display a message notifying you of this operation. Files containing pertinent preferences information will be retained for user convenience.
