to cosponsor H.Res.519, the Social Work Month Resolution. March is National Professional Social Work Month and this years theme, All People Matter seeks to showcase how social workers value all people. The social work profession has been instrumental in achieving civil rights and human rights advances in the United States and across the globe for more than a century. Every day social workers assist the disadvantaged, the elderly, children, service members and veterans, and others facing life-limiting challenges. They find solutions to poverty, divorce, addiction, emotional distress, and other psychological, economic, and social issues. Social workers form societys social safety net. Please celebrate the profession and demonstrate your support by becoming a cosponsor.
