Venn Diagram Using the template below, students are to create are to list all the traditional features

of the Shinto religion (in regards to practices, ceremonies, rituals and festivals) on the left side, and on the right side and listing all the traditional features of Christianity (or their personal religion in regards to practices, ceremonies, rituals and festivals) on the left. Any aspects that students find to be similar should be listed in the centre of the venn diagram. Students should the n form into groups of approximately 4 to discuss their findings and recordings and add on to their venn diagrams. An example has been provided to guide students.

Eg. Shinto adherents follow a certain ritual before entering a Shrine

CHRISTIANITY Eg. Christians dip fingers in holy water and make sign of the cross upon entering church

Eg. Both religions have a certain ritual before entering place of worship
