A fundraiser is scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday April 15 at Pia's Ristorante Italiano, 21142 Ecorse Road, Taylor. The event will benefit the 8-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son of the late Chelsea Small, 30, who was tragically killed during a robbery at Advance America on November 12 2013. Chelsea worked full time and attended Wayne County Community College District to give a better life to her children. The proceeds from the fundraiser are intended to help start college funds for both children. Pia's will donate 20% of the food bill of everyone who brings this flier to the restaurant or mentioned the benefit. The donation applies to dine-in meals only.
