1/ My initial reaction after reading this letter, the professor suppose to give a feedback to the student with using

a very polite language instead of using a language that mixed with inappropriate words. 2/ The student in terms of his writing the complaint, he used a very polite language that shows the student even he was bothered by the professors act, he respect the professor and he did not say or use inappropriate word in his compliant. 3/ The student does not have the right to complain. In other words, using this word I do not know the policy of this class does not give him the right to complain and to come to the class late. 4/ The teacher was not wrong 100% because professors in the university think that the students respect the time and always coming to class on time. However, not coming to the class late because being late considers as a negative habit that can tell the student has less behavior. So, the professor has the right to kick the student out of the class and dismiss him. 5/ The teacher has the right to demand the student not to be late coming to the class. Also, he has the right to put a strict policy and consequences. 6/ If I have the chance to take a class with this professor, indeed I will because I found that he has a strong personality in terms of managing his class. However, I would not work with this student because as I am an engineer, time is a very essential item because we do a lot of teamwork. However, working with this student will be a problem because he might come late and as teamwork we have to do our work together without missing any member of the group.
